I'd be remiss if I didn't ask you to take any righteous indignation I might have raised over to Lisa's and check out a post of hers that is oddly a lot like the one of mine called "reality check" below. If you are not yet acquainted with Lisa, she describes herself this way:
"Hey, I'm a deaf-blind single mom of twins through DI with a quadriplegic life partner who lives three blocks away."
Her life-parnter may be a boy, but that's as Leave-It-To-Beaver as they get. They can't marry either. Why? Ha! Funny one--HEALTH INSURANCE. Have you ever heard such insanity? Anyway check out this post and give them a little love.
