Spring Has Sprung

Heaven knows it has taken its time. But though we aren't as together as some folks with their baby bluebirds, (I am jealous!) this morning, I did discover that sparrows have hatched in the window-unit A/C in the office. Fortunately, there is no chance anyone will turn it on as it has been broken for months and we lazily never took it down. So the birds found their way between the window panes and made the perfect cat-proof, hawk-proof nest there. I can't see the babies, but I can hear them hungrily cheeping all day long while the parents run back and forth to feed them. I sympathize with Mama Sparrow. Selina can't get enough to eat these days, what with all the calorie-burning crawling and pulling up she's been doing!
